Interview stage

After the initial application process, candidates progress to an in-depth interview with our Clinical & Governance Nurse Manager, Janet. During this interview, we not only assess their knowledge and experience but also gauge their genuine passion for providing care. It's a crucial step where we get to understand if they align with our values and culture.

This thorough assessment ensures we find the best fit for iCare24, making sure our team consists of dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional care.

References and checks

Prior to making any hiring decisions, we conduct a comprehensive background check on all applicants, including an enhanced criminal record check (DBS). We take the time to meticulously verify their references, covering the last three years of employment and/or study, ensuring a complete picture of their professional history.

This process applies to both new applicants and individuals seeking to rejoin iCare24. Additionally, we require candidates to provide references for any positions they have held since their departure, allowing us to gather valuable insights into their work ethic and performance. As part of our thorough assessment, we also confirm the validity of their moving and handling certificate, ensuring that our team members are equipped with the necessary qualifications and skills.

Induction
